Illamasqua lipstick review and swatches

The illamasqua lipsticks in my opinion, are not my favourite product but is certainly not the worst. At first I found the lipsticks drying and would show all the cracks and splits in my lips. However after playing round with them I find that if you put a very thick lip conditioner or balm on before foundation and let it sink in whilst your doing the rest of your makeup it gives the best finish and effect that I have found possible with the very cold weather. I have 2 shades , sonnet and fable , sonnet is an everyday peachy nude whereas fable is a brighter pink but it can also be tamed very easily with a litter lipgloss over the top. Overall they are very nice lipsticks but for the price there are others that are slightly better, however some of the more unique shades are the ones to look out for. I mean blue lipstick !!!! :)

Revlon Eye shadow Review and Swatches

Hello,
The following 4 shadows that are being reviewed were all found out my local pounland. Meaning they were an amazing £1 EACH. They retail for around £5.99 each , I'm not sure they are now not available , but they are easily available online if you can't find them in any local shops.

L.R. 55 Sunlit Sparkle. 98 Ocean Blue. 50 Violet Sparkle .15 Shimmering Sienna

All 4 of the Shadows are soft , apart from Ocean Blue , it is slightly drier in texture than the others. However all of them last a long time and are extremely pigmented.

I really don't have any down faults with these eye shadows apart from the colour range ,it is really difficult to find the Matt shades in stores and the shimmery ones are not the best for everyday apart from Sunlit Sparkle which is basically just a very shimmery wash of colour to the lids.

Anyway I like these eye shadows enough to buy more ,but they are not my all time favorites and I do not use them everyday.

XOXO
